Solo Violin Wedding Package

~ Consultation - I’ll help you choose the perfect pieces, or you can leave it to me!
~ 30 minute prelude - half an hour of beautiful music to set the tone for your day.
~ Processional music - music for wedding participants as they walk down the aisle.
~ Special Music during ceremony (if desired).
~ Recessional music - playing the bride and groom out, as well as the wedding party.
~ Postlude music - celebratory music while the guests file out to the reception.

Kat & Clay are a married musical duo from Cookeville, Tennessee, bringing their unique and heartfelt sound to you! Together, they run Kat Starr Music, founded in 2009, where they teach students of all ages to find their musical voice through lessons on violin, guitar, bass, piano, and more. Kat, a multi-instrumentalist since age nine, blends her lifelong passion for music with Clay’s enthusiasm as an adult learner who picked up bass at 33 and later guitar. Their performances weave together an eclectic mix of Americana, carefully chosen covers, original songs, and traditional fiddle tunes, creating a warm and engaging experience for all.

The first step is filling out the booking form, so we know your event date! We’ll reach out to you shortly and discuss your musical needs and our availability.
A deposit of $100 holds your date, and the remaining balance is due a week before your event.

Text or Call 931.706.9496! This number goes straight to Kat & Clay’s cells.

Solo Violin Packages just need a 5’ x 5’ area to set up, preferably in a corner for the best sound.
Kat & Clay Packages need a 10’ x 10’ area to set up and access to a power outlet.

If your event is held outside, musicians need a covering from the sun, and pop-up showers.
If you don’t have one available, we are happy to provide our own!
$50 - Outside Covering

Kat & Clay make sure speeches run smoothly with use of our microphone and PA, no extra charge.
Solo Violin Packages don’t come with amplification, but let us know you’d like this and we’ll arrange for a mic for you!

We love requests! They add such a personal touch, and are especially sweet at weddings, receptions, and anniversary parties.
If we don’t already have your song in our repertoire, we’d be happy to learn it (given enough time).

We sure do! We love playing in Crossville, Knoxville, Nashville, and many surrounding areas.
We charge standard mileage one way more than 30 miles away.

I’d be happy to attend your wedding rehearsal, schedule permitting, to check the flow of music ahead of your special day.
$50 in Cookeville / $50 + mileage for locations more than 30 miles away.
